News for the refuge...

14/05:

The road has open today, and the refuge also. It is the perfect time to watch ibex from the refuge (they were more than 100 of them near by today)!!!

The restaurant and the refuge are now open daily for lunch and dinner except on Wednesday. Remember to make a reservation!

01/05 - 13/05:

The risks for avalanches are still very high in the massif of Grand Bec. A specialist in snow conditions has confirmed those risks the 7th of May 2008.

The road to access the Laisonnay valley has been closed for all vehicles and pedestrians. Consequently, the opening of Le Refuge du Laisonnay has been delayed until further snow evaluation.

A new evaluation will take place on Monday the 12th of May.
